Understood it is a hostel but for the higher cost of a private room, they should carry a few cheap ones at the front desk to borrow for guests of private rooms in case they need. "The staff was super helpful. There is a lot of value for your money with space for 4 to sleep and a fridge. It has air conditioning and hot water. When the power went out they were quick to show us the switch for the generator. It's close to the beach, restaurants and stores."

"I checked in & it looks like the hostel dormitory was being repainted so I got upgraded into room 56 at no charge! So I have a private room with a king size bed, a private bathroom & a tv that I plugged an HDMI cord into & streamed from my laptop on. Great setup, right on the beach, nice pool, water seemed clean, lots of places to sit & lounge around. "The Apartment was beautiful "

"If you don't mind driving back and forth on dusty bumpy roads and asking where the heck this place is over and over, then it might be ok for you if you are a surfer that doesn't mind substandard lodging. The outdoor bathrooms were dirty with no water and the room smelled like vapors coming from the uncorked sewer drains. The room is worth far less"

"Dreamsea Nica is a paradise. Located between San Juan del Sur and Maderas surf Beach. When you enter through the gates you are immediately transported into a lush tropical paradise where the only sound is nature. The staff was friendly, attentive where anything you asked for was not a problem. The rooms were incredible. Tastefully decorated with a big comfortable bed, and veranda. The pool was refreshing with a Tiki bar to make everything right Yoga and surf was offered each day....

"This was a convenient spot for me as I only had a couple of days in San Juan and the staff is very helpful in all areas. It's a hostel so don't expect it to be quiet and take your own shower needs including a towel. Great stay and thank you"

"Roman helped us make arrangements on Ometepe. Wifi works in some rooms or common area. Would probably stay on Ometepe next time but not because of hotel or staff. San Jorge is just too small and not that interesting."
