"I absolutely would not recommend staying here! The spot we usually stay at was booked, so based on the reviews and photos, I decided to give this local, non-chain spot a try. First, the pictures online are deceiving. When we walked into the lobby, I was immediately concerned. This property is dated and in need of some serious TLC. As we walked upstairs, my husband noticed wires hanging from the hallway ceiling outside the entry to our room. Upon entering, I noticed all the furnishings looked...
"The WiFi was very slow.
The TV had no national networks, ie ABC, NBC or CBS, so no local news, only CNN.
The breakfast items were depleted quickly and people had to wait until the attendant went to prepare more. The trash can in the eating area was filled to the brim and not emptied.
The toilet in our room clogged, so a plunger was brought to the door in a plastic bag and we were told to put the bag outside our door when done plunging!"
"This hotel was not clean at all. As soon as we opened the door the smell was bad. It smelled like the sheets had not been cleaned in a long time. The shower was dirty as well. You can also tell the floor had not been sweeped, food crumbs all around the floor. Th3 fridge was also completely dirty. Not cleaned from previous occupants. Staff was not friendly either. Would not stay here again."
"This is my second time staying here and it was just as amazing as the first time!! The property manager (i hate i cant remember his name) was awesome, very friendly and extremely helpful and knowledgeable!!
We will definitely go back!!!"
"Staff was very helpful and addressed problems brought to their attention quickly. The blind fell out of the window when opening and they put it back up. Spouse is 80 and almost fell in the shower. No mat so they came in that day and put down non skid stickers to tub floor. Did not complain about the following: No grab bar in shower. Shower curtain filthy with slime and dirt to bottom 6 inches that rests in tub. Fancy soap dispenser in bathroom empty. Kitchen with 1 dishcloth, 1 towel. ...
"The location was great. But the property seems to be where some people live long term. The unit was spacious, but there was what I can only presume was dog hair all over the floor. I also did not like that an envelope was left on the door with my door code and name, because there is no actual person available to check you in on site. Traveling alone, that didn't make me feel safe. But the bed was cozy."
"Excellent property, very clean, friendly, quaint. We rented the 2 bedroom suite with kitchenette and are highly satisfied. There are several vignettes outside where you can sit and enjoy wildlife and nature. The room was very nicely set up with every thought about your comfort and needs. From the kitchen appliances provided (coffee maker, blender, toaster, toaster oven, etc.) to the games ranging in a variety of ages. The owner is a lovely lady who takes the time to get to know her guests...
