"This is not a luxury hotel but it was very clean and comfortable. I slept better in this property than any of the 4-4 star hotels over the past 10 days! Very basic amenities. A wonderful stay for a fair price!"
"This was a lovely relaxing stay in a spacious clean room with a partial view over Lake Maggiore. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and restful. The breakfast was good value. The staff were lovely, and the hotel was generally kept in good condition and is situated in a great location just up from the railway station. The included Ticino card was great for local travel. "Perfect location, friendly staff and although the rooms are basic, they provide everything you need.
Convenient parking just next to the station.
Breakfast just fine and it was lovely to be able to eat on the terrace in the beautiful spring weather"
"What a gem of a place! It's run by two folks who clearly put a lot of care, attention, and hospitality knowledge into the experience. I loved the location which was across from a bus stop that runs right into town, next to a grocery store, and within short walking distance of the lovely Ascona waterfront. It was also a good location for morning runs. The breakfast was good and while I didn't try the restaurant, it had lively crowds and the food looked delicious. Highly recommend!"
"An incredible location with breathtaking views. Just be aware that you’ll either need to park at the bottom of the mountain and take the funicular, or park farther away and walk to the apartment. This wasn’t a problem for us and was absolutely worth it, but it’s helpful to know in advance, especially if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns."
