"This was the cutest little hotel! I loved everything about it. The view from the balcony was lovely and the room itself was comfortable. The photos do not do it justice. The staff was kind and accommodating. I’d definitely come back to stay! "

"Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days."

"A nice hotel in the mountains near lake Como. Host and personnel are very friendly and speak English. Room, dinner and breakfast are good and overall it was an enjoyable stay. Please note that the road near the lake can be tricky with small passages and tight corners. I preferred taking the road inland from and to Como as this is an overall more relaxed drive. "
