"One night stay before the Zoo de Mac bike ride. Clean spacious room with parking right in front of our door. Check in was fast, easy, and the clerk was friendly. The lobby has a northern Michigan charm to it including state shaped petoskey stone accents hidden in the stone wall decor. We were given a discount coupon for a nearby restaurant which came in handy, and the restaurant was just a minute down the road. "Specifically always stayed in Lake Michigan room. Rooms back side on side street and beautiful view of the lake. I would highly recommend it. Walkable to local shops and restaurants. Been there a lot of times. Will go there again ."

"Beautiful old house in a beautiful neighborhood very close to the lake and downtown. Louisa was our hostess. She was very friendly and helpful even ran to the Grey Gables restaurant next door to make our dinner reservation for us. We had the room off the living area so there was a little noise when the restaurant patrons left for the evening but it was very brief and no trouble at all. The huge King bed was perfectly pillow like for me, albeit a bit too soft for my husband, but no mattress will...
