"Very great place to stay as you are right next to many historic sites (Santa Maria Cathedral, Giotto's Bell Tower and more). Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, and there is a fantastic view of the cathedral from the rooftop bar! Do note that this hotel is located on the 4th floor (there is an elevator, but it is quite narrow) and the beds were "meh." I would stay here again! "

"Small, comfortable hotel located easy walking distance to the train station (and by tram to the airport). Very friendly and accommodating staff. We showed up early, and even though our room wouldn't be ready for a few hours, they took our bags so they were in our room when we came back at the normal check-in.time. They also offered to hold our bags after check-out if we wanted to go back into the old city before our departure from the area. The hotel is actually on an upper floor of a building,...

"Comfortable and clean. A little tired looking but clean. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. English good. Crisp bed linen but towels old but they were changed every day. No kettle in the room."

"This is a clean hotel with lovely staff. It is also in a very beautiful area of Florence. The rooms are modest in size and furnishings. Also you should note that there is no elevator. If you are looking for a very well kept hotel and OK with a small room this is your place."

"I might agree with others that this property is probably more hostel than hotel. BUT!! That being said, we had our own bathroom, the room was clean and our group each had their own bed, the showers were hot, they had a good breakfast and they will do your laundry for a fee. And sometimes travel is just what you make it, had we not stayed here we would have missed some good shopping streets walking into the city. Beautiful walks. "
