"Didn’t like anything about our stay. The “hotel” is very rundown and I don’t think the room had room we got was properly cleaned. The toilet was dirty, no toilet paper, the taps were filthy. The carpets were monody and cobwebs all over roof. The radiator was thick with dust. We only got two flat pillows and didn’t feel we could actually go to bed cos we weren’t sure if the sheets had been cleaned. The mattress was comfortable enough. The staff were mainly non existent. Would definitely not stay...
"Pleasantly suprised by the room, much better than I expected. Bathroom a smidge bigger than the student accommodation I stayed in in Edinburgh, and that small amount made a big difference. Appreciated the shampoo, shower gel and handwash in bathroom, good scent. Also liked that bathroom had a proper light switch that I turned off and on and didn't switch off when there hadn't been alot movement after a minute or two.
Bed was comfortable and clean. Appreciated the big shower towel provided....
"It's not clear if you booked the one with the bathroom or not. It's just easier if they don't share the same name and same photo. The bathroom is modern, hope the hot water issue is fixed soon. Room with big space"
"This hotel is ideally placed if you are visiting either football grounds.
The staff were aproachable, friendly and always had a smile.
Breakfast was good. The only downside was scrambled egg using powdered egg.

"Very clean and modern place to stay with high-tech facilities. Despite being close to nature, the Wi-Fi is super fast and the heating keeps the place very warm and cozy. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and I love the design and decor. The kitchen and room are very spacious. It's so convenient to visit the farm animals during the day and stargave at midnight! Nicky is very friendly and welcoming. Perfect place to stay in Kirriemuir—will definitely revisit!"
"By far the worst experience I've had at an accommodation after traveling to 30+ countries.
I was never sent the check-in instructions. Not in the junk folder either. As I was arriving at night, there was nobody there to help. I called the off-hours emergency line and was answered by a man who appeared to be based in a completely different region and could not help with check-in. Seeing no other option, I checked into a different property for the night.
