"This was a nice older motel that is being fixed up. Our room was clean with comfortable beds. There was some nice new furniture but some unfinished area so maybe still being renovated. Overall a good one night stop. A great place for breakfast not to far by car is Gather. Great coffee and breakfast. "

"Owners were very helpful and communicative. Area was quiet, but still very close to services & the interstate. The shower was a bit small, but everything else ticked the boxes that are important to us, so we didn't mind. We were visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving, so this was "overflow housing" for us. We will definitely book here again, if needed in the future."

This boat launch in Passadumkeag, Maine sits right in the corner of the Penobscot River and the Passadumkeag River. It's one of my favorite places to sit in the evening and watch the sunset. Because Passadumkeag is extremely rural, this boat access is usually pretty solitary, but it's a great entry point into the calm waters of the Penobscot for kayakers and boaters. The boat access is easy to find. It's located on Route 2, a simple drive through simple terrain with relatively little traffic. Travelers to Maine can follow my map pin right to the parking lot. It comfortably fits about four vehicles with trailers, but you'll rarely find more than one here at a time. Highly recommended for people who like to get out on the water and relax. #sunsets #maine #rivers
