"What a wonderful place to find out what life on the Pacific coast of Panama is like and what it can be for you. Brooke and her staff are everything you would want in them. Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and supportive. Breakfast is included and is the only meal served daily. Definitely try El Parque restaurant in San Carlos. Delicious and inexpensive. Being a small lodge on the ocean makes it special. FYI: No TV, no fridge, no microwave in my room but an awesome ocean view, a...

"Really cool hostel with lots of eclectic details however we chose the cheapest room and it was like a closet with a broken lamp no towels, a sink that didn’t work and cold water shower. Internet was also terrible. If you are a single traveller and looking for bare bones or very basic, it would work. I think they have nicer rooms available, but we just didn’t book those. The town around it was quite cute and very active."

"Muchas gracias Maria Victoria por tu hospitalidad. La cabaña familiar es un espectáculo."

"De hostel met netjes kamers, hangmat per kamer, Agatha the papagaai, goede locatie dichtbij van centrum en thermaalbad."

"A nice and cozy place! The owner is extremely friendly and made the stay feel like home. He also offered us to use the bikes and we had some interesting conversations on football, music, and ancestry. He also has a really friendly dog named Music that wants to be petted all the time! The place has a lot soul, it’s very green, has lots of interesting books and is at a nice location to start hikes. We were staying in the time of ripening of mangoes which were falling of trees at all times (onto...

"Had a wonderful stay. The staff is exceptionally kind, and creates a wonderful environment."

"Clean and spacious with a view! That view is spectacular! Peaceful vibes."

"Room and amenities were very run down"

"This was actually our second time there. The first time two years ago we found a very large, very dead cockroach in our room behind our bathroom door. Considering it was dead, we felt okay about staying. At least they were doing something about the problem and we never seen any live ones.We didn't have much to choose from by the time we were looking so we went with what we knew. The desk clerk couldn't find our reservation at first and didn't know that we had already paid. We had copies of our...
