"Staff are responsive and accommodating as I was able to leave my luggage to their storage area outside check in/check out time. Nice, decent, convenient place to stay for budget conscious people like me. I stayed with my young daughter in a single room with shared bathroom. There is bar at Ground floor with lots of people but noise is manageable i could barely hear the noise in our room located at Level 4. The only downside is the strong smell of the hotel corridor its like chemical or fragrance...

"Great, easy accommodation for what we needed. Breakfast available if needed that to, but close to everything so easy to walk or catch public transport. Only thing it was not easy to park my car, having to pay daily, which was not ideal. So if you don't have a car, it's perfect for you."

"It was an older place but clean and beds where nice .only thing the door was hard to get key in and out no complaints here .we would stay again .easy check in .we asked to get checked in two hours before check in as we had a function .so very helpful and accommodating.very much appreciated . "

"I have just come back to Melbourne and looked at my bank statement and I have been overcharged for parking $5 per day. On wotif it’s advertised as $10 and I was charged $15 per day. Also our room was never serviced and we stayed 2 nights however it’s advertised it’s done daily. Neat, clean and tidy apartment -"

"Clean hostel all around. You could see cleaning done everyday. The kitchen was a huge plus for me because it saved me a lot of money on eating out. Three dinners were provided each week promoting social interactions with other guests. If I need a place to stay in the future I will be back"

Comfortable but showing its age, room was noise due to work being done on the block behind the building just outside our bath room window, but the bath room door was water damaged and could not be closed. Would stay again, there appears to be plans to do work on the build in 2024"

"Great location! Quick walk to the transit and right in the middle of downtown! The room was fine, the street noise was an issue, as the best way to cool the room was to open the window (no AC). Very clean, great staff!"

"Loved the classic hostel feel and intense walkability and beach access. The facility needs some repairs, but if you're young and traveling and need an inexpensive place, perfect. It's loud, but no more so than any other hostel experience. I felt a bit too old to be there at 29, but then again I'm fairly low key and wasn't keen on the party life."

"Amazing find if you are looking for affordable accommodation in Sydney and are ok with sharing bathroom facilities. It is a clean, quiet and safe alternative if you just need a bed. Carpets a bit tired and a spruce up here would be a great upgrade but other than that I couldn't fault the place. would def stay again. "
