"Cute hotel on a quiet street close to the pedestrian part of downtown. Beautiful antique wooden furniture and decorations. The innkeeper is very friendly and speaks many languages. "The gardens were very pretty. Smaller pool was great for my small children however way too few loungers. Best time to go was about 1.30pm as the Spanish would go for Siesta leaving some available. The AC unit was full of mould and microwave had mouldy food on the glass plate. We moved units and the second unjt also had mould in the AC and was not level with the ground. "Very basic room, definitely overpriced. No air conditioning, no fridge in room, towels that look really old and thin, old bulky tv, mattress cover a bit dirty... Absolutely no effort in spending a little to make it a bit decent. The price, however, is quite high (granted it was high season, but still). Location is ok as in 2min from beach, but it is next to a busy road so expect noise. We only stayed for 1 night and it was fine just to sleep and go, but don't stay there for more than that."

"The room was perfectly acceptable in this hostel and the hostel is right on one of the nicest beaches in the area. Luxury and bellmen offering drinks on the beach is not what this hostel is about. Ecological offerings in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner are. Where possible the food is bio as are the interesting array of wines produced by the vineyard, which owns this hostel. (You can buy jars of their excellent home-made marmelade to take home.) It is true that in our inexpensive room the shower could have been bigger and a proper shower tray would have helped stopping water on the bathroom floor. But staff were charming and there is a free security car park among the pines at the back of the hostel."
