"I don’t usually write reviews and was very skeptical about this hostel when I booked it since it’s so low cost (I paid USD $15 for 3 nights including taxes). I took a chance on it due to all the prior/raving reviews... so here I am writing one in case you have the same doubt! "We had 2 rooms and to be honest both bathrooms were in desperate need of an upgrade. The shower doors didn’t close on either and the shower head was completely off in the other. They were in need of a good clean. The rooms were very small and dark although it was very quiet and the beds were comfy. "

"Very nice place to stay, near the morning market and night market. Plenty of food to eat around the villa. The staff is really nice and very good at communicating. The place is clean and well taken care of. There’s a hostel right next to villa which gets loud sometimes but other than that it’s really good place to stay "

"Excellent stay here! We paid the extra couple thousand kip for a riverfront view and it was totally worth it, what a view over the Nam Khan from our little patio. The staff was friendly and helpful. Located in a really great part of the city, a little off the main strip, but very close to everything, easy to walk everywhere. It’s an old building so there are some quirks, bathroom was quite small by western standards, but all is in working order and is pretty much par for the course as far as SE...

"My wife, son and I stayed here and felt very welcome by the friendly owners and their staff. Breakfast is fantastic! Location is great, a good variety of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms nice and clean. We look forward to staying again upon our return to Luang Prabang. Highly Recommend. "
