"The place was perfect! The space was big, the bed was big and the toilet was big! We felt really comfortable and made the mistake of staying inside for far too long when Kumamoto has so much to offer. It was also walkable to the castle and the shopping arcade. There was even a massage chair in our room! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will stay in other Daiwa hotels in our future stay."

"We booked the hotel the day of the trip as we had change plans due to Typhoon Haishen. When we entrance to the hotel was blocked with a rope and they did not answer the phone. There was noone to get any information, we did not get a cancellation or a notification. "The flat is more spacious than I expected and we appreciated the washer and balcony equipped for drying clothes. The kitchen area is very small so it was hard to cook. The futons were very comfortable on the mezzanine level and, although the fan helped, it was very hot during the summer to sleep as the a/c does not reach that high. Location was excellent for exploring Kumamoto"

"It almost felt like I was staying with a host family rather than a hostel. The hosts are so nice and speak English very well and had tons of amazing recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Breakfast each morning was especially nice and very traditional. "I booked a 2 night stay at Pension Flower Garden in end of November 2022. Overall, the stay was good. I booked a room with a single bed. The room came with a small TV, a small side table. The bathrooms and shower shared. The facilities was very clean and orderly. There is a hot water kettle upstairs so I brewed my own coffee with Nestle instant coffee. There is a common area downstairs with a cozy feel. The place was built very long time ago so the owner did her/his best to keep it nice...
