"Amazing location. One of the cleanest places I’ve stayed. No shoes allowed - tatami mats - slippers provided for bathrooms and lounge area. Very convenient location. Right by Omicho market, a large mall w food market underground, walking distance to all the main attractions and Lawson 7-11 right around the corner. Great place to stay. Very comfortable. Note the locker size is small. I was able to fit a 45L backpack and day bag no problem but it won’t work if you have a suitcase."

"Absolutely brilliant. I would definitely book this accommodation again if I returned to Kanazawa! It was always spotlessly clean. The onsen was a lovely way to end the day! There is no bag storage room- rather, they provide a lock for you to secure your bag in the reception area, which I think is great as I was the only one with access to the key to unlock my bag. "First off this hotel has one of the worst check-in procedures I have experienced. the property is supposed to email you a pin number for door access, 48 hours before check in. even with multiple requests for the pin, I did not receive it until I had already been staying at the hotel for two nights. this left me locked out for over an hour the first evening. the property does have a contact number to call to get the pin; however, if you’re a foreign tourist using an esim or don’t have...

"The owners of the ryokan were very accommodating, kind & helpful. The room is big & adequate. Excellent breakfast. The only minus is that there is limited transpo to the inn. And there are no stores or restaurants near the inn. So you need to eat dinner in another village or bring food home."

"Hotel was in a quiet area but just down the road from a main area. The hotel was quiet and they accommodated our early check in. We had a big room with a nice patio. The only issue was that there was a strong musk smell. I think it is due to the wood but one person in my group was sensitive to the smell and it bothered them. "
