"Approaching from the main road on the unpaved street with partly finished neighbouring buildings was uninviting. Exterior of the riad looks nice but it faces onto the garden and isnt within view. Interior is tastefully decorated but the smell of the nearby farm animals wafting through the building was unpleasant. "We are so glad that we stayed at Maroc Galacx. Mohammad was so helpful in advising us about places to see and he arranged car hire for us. We are so grateful for his help and reassurance. Having a car enabled us to explore the south of morocco for one week which was amazing. Having breakfast in the kitchen with his family was just like being at home. They made us feel very welcome and we will defintely return if we are lucky enough to visit Ouazarate again."

"Our stay in the oasis was very exotic. The room was appropriate for the location but equipped with an AC and pretty comfortable beds. We had a great breakfast in the morning in the local style, with amazing fresh bread that was made on site that same morning. This was an excellent adventure, probably not ideal for people expecting luxury and glamour. "

"They are berbers and I received generous warmth and welcoming even during my 1 night stay. It was tranquil and calm with the date palm that lived for more than 200 years, beautiful peacocks walking freely and a cozy room! I slept like a baby! Even though, it was quite isolated but i really did enjoy my stay there and regardless communication break down with the staffs but their warmth gesture speak louder than words. "I am fully aware of the saying "you get what you pay for", and also had experienced staying in hostels. Just like any hostel, this one provides just basic services..nothing fancy, small room, basic breakfast so no complaints. The only thing I wish they provide is perhaps in the winter, even a small space heater for each room, if not a large heating system for the entire living room.
