"Booked this room for my parents and they had a terrible experience. The bed was broken and they could not sleep at all and ended up having to make the 3 hour drive back earlier than anticipated. Both my parents are elderly with chronic back pain and expected to have somewhere nice enough to rest before travelling back. They mentioned this to the receptionist at the desk and all she could say was “okay then have a nice day” I would not recommend this establishment."

"Helpful staff & smooth check in. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. Our room only had a fan to keep...

"There was just enough parking, the instructions on how to enter the property was simple & accurate. The room was perfect for an overnight stop, bed clothing was fresh & clean. The shower was on the small size (I’m Big) other than that great."

"Good quiet air conditioning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food, bit of a delay on the delivery though! Comfortable, clean, quiet room, decent bed. Not much of a choice of real ale in the bar."

"If you want a bed for a night and don’t want anything super fancy in the area, choose here. The owner was friendly, the bed was comfortable. You really can’t argue for the price. Loved it, I would definitely stay again next time I’m visiting friends in Mansfield."
