"Lovely big room & big bed, plus plenty of parking. Great food & wine too."

"Lovely staff, great food and very convenient for the coast 2 coast cycle route. It is on a busy road and the building and decor is old fashioned but perfect for an overnight stop."

"Needlessly complicated check in process - why did I have to supply my ID? There is no UK legal requirement for this and most places don't do it. The booking app has my details if anything goes wrong. My room (6) was in a dark lower basement, not listed as such. I asked for upstairs room which was available but it did not have a cooking stove. "Great two night stay. Clean comfortable room with really friendly staff."

"The Kings Arms is a lovely old pub with wonky beams and floor, but that just adds to the character of the place. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was absolutely scrumptious! The only downside is that it's next to the main street running throught the village, but this was remedied by using a good set of ear plugs at bedtime!"

"The Host is just the Best. Wonderful Hostess, beautiful Apartment, Extremely Neat Amenities with all things provided. Breakfast provided. It's the best place I have stayed yet."

"Room great quiet in hotel but noisy outside. I stayed on a Sunday night although I couldn't hear cars there a loud motor bike kept joy riding around the roundabout up Union Street and then up Royal Perade this went on for a 1hr. Not the hotel fault but it did mess up my sleep as this was going on 1am to 2 am"

"We loved our stay at the shepherds hut. It was cute and cosy and led to a very relaxing few days. The bed was comfortable, we had everything we could possibly need and I am still dreaming about the shower! Our dog enjoyed the enclosed field and being able to explore and listening to the owls and donkeys while chilling out in the hot tub is an experience we won’t forget. Would also recommend picking up a pizza from ganache in Holsworthy if you’re planning to stay here!"

"Worst hotel I have EVER been in ! DO NOT go anywhere near it !"

"Clean room, friendly staff and good food "

"Absolutely spotless, would definitely stay here again."
