"The reception staff were excellent very accommodating and friendly, well located only a 5 minute walk to the Byron's town centre and beach.
The cabins and the whole property was neat, clean and well maintained, I have no hesitation of recommending Glen Villa for a place to stay and will definitely be going back there in the future.
There is a neat little coffee hut just outside the reception serving a good coffee and an assortment of food items."
"The bathroom needed a major overall with dripping taps, waterlogged under the tiles & rotten flooring & skirtings.
We had to wash the dishes in the handbasin!."
"Overall, I had a good stay. The hostel is very social, the staff are friendly, and the common areas are nice. It’s generally clean, including the shared bathrooms.
I stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom, and in my opinion, the private rooms are overpriced and definitely not worth the price. While some of the dorms are nicely located within the property, the private rooms are right by the entrance, with no real view and lots of people constantly walking past. Unless you keep the...
"The best location in Byron Bay- the shops and restaurants of the town centre literally start next door. Yet, it was still quiet at night.
The room was nothing fancy, but had everything we needed. If you're looking for a great location and good value for money, then I highly recommend."
"I absolutely loved my private room! I need a restful, peaceful and quiet place to replenish from an event-heavy period and it was exactly what I needed. It was spacious, bright, quite private and I appreciated the comfort of the space. 10/10"
"I needed a place to stay for one night- this was ideal. As an older person the hostel looked very nice: clean, pool, beach a couple of blocks away, cafe on the way to the beach, was offered pancakes when I was checking out…!"
"The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a day pass to use the common facilities and car park after check out till 12 noon. The room was clean and spacious enough. There were some noise during the night that woke us up. On the day of check out, they washed the car park and splashed lots of dirt onto our car body. When we complained to the cleaner, he gave excuses and later used a cloth to wipe off the big pieces of mouldy dirt from our car door."
"Staff are very helpful with accommodating requests and respond quickly. The property is clean and well maintained. Security on-site is excellent. The hotel is centrally located to the business centre of lismore but is quiet. A pleasant park is directly across the road and for a no-fuss quick meal the Lismore Workers Club is a two minute walk away. If you don't want to eat at the club there a many other eating venues within a five minute walk radius. The beds are comfortable and the rooms provide...
