"The staff was awesome, and they definitely try to keep things clean/cared for. That said, it was recently remodeled but the details are lacking (worn out mirrors/the bathroom faucet was installed so the water drains on the counter). The staff would change out our towels, but interestingly they will not make the beds, not sure why? You are right at the beach, so parking can be very challenging, Lastly, its not the hotels fault, but everything reeks of weed, not my thing but it sucks when you walk...

"Stayed here during my daughters US Finals Cheerleading competition. Room was clean and served its purpose for the stay. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was really small. Water came out of the shower a little which was frustrating , not sure why hotels are choosing that Outdoor pool was right outside of our room would have been great had it been open and rather was a little warmer. "

"Hotel was what you would expect from a slightly outdated beach hotel. Room was very spacious. Even thou the beds are not that comfortable . They are on metal Frame boxes. The fridge/ cook top in the room were clean but the actual floor was disgusting. We had to request a broom and mop. We couldn't walk in socks or barefoot as the bottoms of our feet turned jet black. "Nice, big rooms. Renovated, though some wear and tear around the edges. Pretty good breakfast. Lots of options: waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. "

"I was apprehensive staying here at first after the reviews but I did not experience any negative aspects during my stay. Clean and cold room, convenient eateries right outside and a small drive away from Norfolk AND VA beach. Room was clean and staff cleaned..occasionally. The only thing barring a five star is the cleaning staff not taking out trash during my stay. They did however, swap out my towels so good enough for me."

"The garage is tight. The turns to get in and out are scary. The push to sell their Hilton program was a bit much. Overall the stay was great. The staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. The room was great and provided exactly what we needed! "
