"I paid fully through Expedia yet when I went to go check in, I was charged an additional $81.24 in “taxes”. Nowhere in the listing nor the confirmation email from the hotel did it state this would happen. Mind you, my total price paid prior to the additional fake tax was $402 (including TAXES and stay protection). $81.24 is almost 30% of my stay price. How does that even make sense? So serves me right for trying to go the budget route because between the scam tax + taxi costs because...
