"Front desk staff were very courteous and understanding. My only gripe is the centralized AC system but opening the window helped cooling the room a lot. Across the street from the Yamanakako-ashiagaoka bus stop, which helps get around! Will definitely book them again for my next stay in the Yamanakako area!!!"

"Beautiful place with large room. Excellent dinners."

"This was an apartment, not a hotel. Had trouble finding the entrance. The room was large, had two beds. It was clean. It was an excellent location to visit the island."

"This place has a lot of character and was a great experience. We didn’t book the Irori dinner, which I regretted very much. It’s a hostel, not a hotel, so as expected it was a bit spartan. However, the main sitting area was lovely and interesting and the staff were top notch - warm and accommodating. Not really an issue related to the hostel itself, but the one time I tried to check out the outdoor onsen at night, I think patrons had locked it so I wasn’t able to actually get in… It is a bit of a walk /hike from the main...

"Great rural place!"

Seven Eleven.
