"The hotel is basic, but impeccably clean. The pool area and the pool itself were great! Breakfast was adequate, though a little salad to accompany the daily cheese and ham would have been appreciated. The location was good, with easy access to some great bars and restaurants. The family were helpful, but generally not very "cheerful". Perhaps we caught them during a particularly stressful period? "Very spacious clean 2 room apartment with huge bed! Attractively tiled bathroom. Lovely views across Kefalos bay. Just off the beach road so very quiet. Beautiful gardens. Hosts are very helpful. The shower was probably the most powerful I've experienced in Greece, though use at full power gives a rather wet bathroom floor. Kitchen facilities very good. Might be worth considering adding insect screens to windows."
