"I stayed here in 2025 and I must say that I saw a huge improvement across the board at Hostel 165. It seems like some renovations may have been done. The staff were quite attentive and regularly cleaned the bathrooms, restocking toilet paper etc. There’s no longer a stove in the kitchen so there’s a lot less activity in a small area. The fridges are still overflowing and need to be cleaned down. Overall, I do recommend that Hostel 165 is a good option when staying in this area of Madrid."

"Excelente ubicación"

"Beautiful, perfect location, spacious rooms"

Volveremos a quedarnos aquí!"

"I liked the location. The staff was helpful. The lobby was well maintained. However, our room needed to be updated. Walls needed to be painted. The ceiling had yellow spots and the trash can in the bathroom needed to be replaced. These smalls fixes could improve the reviews."

"The staff was really friendly, and it looked like they cleaned a lot. However, the room had a really strong perfume smell that made your hesd hurt and the bathrooms were not always clean."

"It was a lovely room, the only downside was when we had a fire alarm the first night and with no staff everyone was confused on what to do. Other than that a lovely room in a great location."
