"It was very basic, as you would expect if a budget hotel. It was an excellent base and lovely breakfast each day. Would be great to have had a fraction more space in the room. "

"Late arrival from UK ferry. Receptionist had put our key in key box and sent email to advise but was there when we arrived to hand over key. Ground floor room, think possibly bathrooms all refitted, very nice shower. Bed comfy, all good. "

"The staff were very welcoming. It’s a bit difficult to get to the hotel as it stands on one side of what used to be a railway crossing that has been decommissioned. My GPS was very confused. This is an old hotel that feels a bit tired."
