The restaurant (also dining room for breakfast) is beautiful. Le monsieur (owner) is a excellent chef and madame serves meals for an elegant and unhurried evening. often only 4-6 other tables dining. We stayed for 3 weeks and loved Loches and the Hotel de France!"

"decent nights stay but i wouldn’t choose this hotel again. there is no air conditioning - we were there on a 90 degree day. i was loudly scolded by the breakfast room attendant for taking an unfinished water bottle with me from the dining area - i was “supposed to consume it in the dining room.” breakfast costs paris style prices for baguette, croissant, and coffee. overall: hot, unfriendly, only moderately comfortable. (the modern hotel right next door charges extremely similar rates. i didn’t go in, but it looks nice. ) "
