"Do not stay here. I didn’t in the end. After arriving at 5:45pm to a hoarded up entry and no reception I called the number on the door to check in. The receptionist advised no one was on site and I would have to pay my bond of $200 by credit card, which would incur a $6 processing fee (!!?!). I told them I would absolutely not pay the fee, and after quite a bit of back and forth they relented, instead saying if there was any damage to the room following inspection at checkout then I would have...

"the Hotel is more like a motel with separate buildings behind the reception. However, design is modern, almost like a small resort, and great access to parking and to the main street of Hahndorf. The rooms are a good size and the bed is super comfy. One thing I am particular about is a good sized towel and their towels were bug and fluffy.. The rooms have a fridge, sink and tea/coffee which you dont really need given the great coffee in the area. Would totally stay here again"

"Very nice and well maintained holiday park. Rooms were clean and fresh like a hotel. Spacious and had everything we needed. Would probably just recommend a pot upgrade and a couple more bowls but that’s being a bit more picky. Had 2 car spaces but our cars were too big to fit both of them in (SUV & Ute) but we spoke to management and they organised an alternative which was very helpful. Used the laundry and that was easy and cleaned my clothes well. Pool looked great and playground too but...

"The location was fantastic. The bedroom was lovely with the garden outlook. The bathroom needed repairs. Tile and grout were worn and chipped. Staff were cheerful, helpful and were attentive to our feedback."
