"Nice and handy, 10 minute walk to Kyoto station. Between Higashiyama Honganji and Nishi Honganji. Close to Karasuma Dori and Gojo Dori for buses and subway. Room was very nice and perfect for one or 2 people. Staff were very welcoming."

"Great location! Block away from the river which was so beautiful and peaceful especially first thing in the morning, close lots of shopping and restaurants, as well as the Gion district. The bed was so comfy and adjustable! "

"I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The superior doible room with tatami mats was quite possibly the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The location was impeccable, the staff helpful, check in and out were easy and the room itself was gorgeous. Highly recommend staying here and will likely be returning if I get the chance to come back to Kyoto again!"

"Pleasant experience throughout our 5 days here. We didn’t have high expectations being it was basically a self service hotel (room service every 3 days). Some highlights.. 1 - Bathroom clean and spacious enough with hot(!) water for showers. 2 - Powerful, effective room air conditioner. 3. The three bed room was surprisingly comfortable, amazing value if not the best in the Kyoto area. However, there are some minor complaints. 1- The room door annoyingly squeak/shake whenever other guests...

"Hotel is close to 3 train lines and only 2 changes from Kyoto station. The rooms are small but this is Japan so I did not have a problem with that. It’s very well run and the rooms and facilities were well kept. Only thing would be for the housekeepers once a week to wipe down the desk and the top of the tv because it had a lot of dust on it. "
