"We had a very good night Sansuikan Kawayu Matsuya. They share hot springs and the restaurant with a nearby hotel. Hot springs are the absolute standout: fantastic! Food is good and plentiful. Our room had a brilliant view. All the rest is okay, although the exterior of the building is not nice."

"The price was the best in the city, but this is no hotel as you can find somewhere else. Check-in and check-out was ok. There is no private shower, and with the rain, the ceiling was leaking. "I stayed for three nights. The hotel is clean and well ventilated. I was lucky enough to have a large and quiet room. The owner is very friendly and doesn't bother guests. But the only regret is that the floor noise is loud. It will be noisy if you live next to the stairs. I would come again if given the chance."

"Given these are hostel prices the room I had was marvellous. A rural location but the bus stops were outside. I had a car which made the visit easier for me as I had the freedom to get around as I chose. Beautiful area, a great hostel with gorgeous scenery. The onset was lovely and clean, and the only thing that made it feel hostel like was that the interior decor was probably tired, however, coming from the UK, that is par for the course in this country and the hostel was more than tolerable for the price and facilities."
