"We went to Canalview for a girls trip. Check in was easy, room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant anf assisted with everything. Breakfast was great, it had everything we needed for the day and the setting was gorgeous. Front desk agent was helpful. Only issue was the heating, it was a very cold weekend and we needed more heat, thefe was a sucharge. There is also a surcharge for an extra blanket and pillows, and hair dryer"

We then drove round another kilometer and it was the furst hotel we had stopped at, but there was no name sign at the side of the hotel. That needs to be improved. The room was great with views over the river. The facilities were good especially the disabled room we had. The staff were excellent and very helpful we will stay again "

"Having staying there last year, we had the coldest two days of the year, the property had no heating or hot water. A heater was not provided. (issue) no reception to speak too. Hey ho, we decided to stay again, knowing that problems do arise. "We didn’t get the email to check in and showed up at 2:30 pm being told we couldn’t until 4. The first night there was some very loud techno beat until 4 amThe second night there was 9:40- midnight the heat wasn’t working and we were told that 68 should be warm enough. We asked for a blanket which we got but he didn’t seem happy. There was no one at the receptionist desk ever."
