"Enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Great location, easy walk from train station with wheelie bags, and walk to town attractions. Our room was small but ideal as a place to put head down after big day walking. The staff were always friendly and always staff cleaning the main areas of hotel. The gym is small but adequate - cost euro 5 to use. The breakfasts seemed very popular and good value judging by the amount of people dining there from early in morning. "We went to Canalview for a girls trip. Check in was easy, room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant anf assisted with everything. Breakfast was great, it had everything we needed for the day and the setting was gorgeous. Front desk agent was helpful. Only issue was the heating, it was a very cold weekend and we needed more heat, thefe was a sucharge. There is also a surcharge for an extra blanket and pillows, and hair dryer"

"Landing lights constantly flashing = electrical fault. Light above bed missing with wires hanging down in terminal blocks not taped up. Bathroom window rusty and paint missing around window frame. Dust on top of several things in the bathroom. Convenient for station and comfy bed is all I can say that is good about the place. Just like a cheap Belgian hotel in the 80s, but it wasn’t cheap!"
