"The check in alone should have been a red flag, it was an outdoor service window. The room itself was awful. It was small and cramped and freezing cold. The bed had two very flat pillows (thankfully we always bring our own from home). My fiance went to put his drinks in the refrigerator and couldn't even leave them in there because it was so dirty. "Inside the room was pretty clean, even if the room would benefit from some attention (cigarette burns or rust on outside of bathtub. Laminate flooring in room was a plus as it's easier to clean. The hallways looked dirty, not vacuumed for a long time seemingly. There was (hopefully) dog fecal matter outside in the parking lot which looked pretty fresh so could have simply been missed or not gotten to yet. Complimentary coffee would have been nice as well as a refrigerator but you get what...

"This rental is absolutely adorable! It was just the right size for our weekend trip to visit family. The location is perfect, with easy access to I-81 and plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The property itself was spotless and the kitchen has everything you might need. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Chambersburg."
