"Pros: Friendly staff, delightful restaurant next door (where breakfast is served), comfortable bed, squeaky clean, good location, nice pool and hot tub.
Cons: Our A/C barely cooled our room at all. It was a cooler evening (low of 58 in August), but the window doesn't open so we had to use the A/C otherwise the room was too stuffy. But we were hot all night long even with it at its coolest setting.

"I was told by the front desk gentleman, who was very nice BTW, that because it dog barked at him, the owner of the business would probably kick me out of the room. If you accept pets, and a dog is not familiar with you, they will bark. I was still told that I would probably be asked to leave."
"Soon after we arrived and moved our stuff in, the A/C unit broke. It was over 100 degrees outside. The front desk attendant was courteous and helpful, but he was unable to fix it. He said there was no one he could call to help and they couldn’t move us to another room, so we packed up all of our things and found a different hotel that we ended up liking much better anyway."
"The property is very old - they put us into a room that had a wheel in shower and there was no ridge at all on the floor -understandable - but I used spare towels to mop up- the motel is quite old so a lot of it is probably just worn, not that it's not clean but it definitely needs an update. The guy who was working the evening we checked in was very nice and the guy who was manning the dining area was very nice - just a head's up, no napkins, the hot water for tea was not there either. "It was in terrible condition.The bottom of my feet were black from going barefoot inside our room. The towel bar in the bathroom fell off the wall when I removed a towel. The TV box was bad. The staff originally said we didn't have a reservation but then found it. A window was cracked and held together with tape. We asked for maid service which was done. The bed was left without the bedspread. The staff was very helpful with all of the issues."
"The stairs to the 2nd floor were scary to say the least. They were deteriorating one step had collapsed onto the other. I think people lived there. They were bbqing outside the door of the room. The charcoal smell came into my room. The room and staff were good."
