"Pros........ Price was resonable fir the stay. Staff friendly and welcoming. Quiet if closing windows, but no loud noises which caused a problem. Locality to shops, transport and walking. Neutral......... Breakfast was basic, but searved enough to set up for the day....would like some hot food like saugages, bacon etc...instead of ham and cheese, but not a big issue...... "Clerk was rude, since they requested copy of Passport by email a couple of hours prior to checkin. I found it a bit odd and called aprox an hour before arrival to very. On phone conversation she indicated it was ok and that they had front desk checkin until midnight. Later received a message indicating the the room key would be at front desk, and checkin would be completed next morning. In the morning she was very rude questioning why I did not send my passport by email, althoug I explained...

Arrived at the hotel around 9pm and was checked in by a very kind gentleman who also swapped out my TV which was having a few technical issues. Tickets for the No5 bus into Venice the next day were from the helpful lady in the small shop just up the road - another 20 minutes later and you're in Plaza Roma. "Very close to the train station and off the Main Street with plenty of dining options . The only thing I can say negative is they will only give you one key card. I got a sick belly and my young men wanted to go out for the evening. I had to get up late to go open the door for them because reception leaves at 10:30. I could not send the card with them because power to room shuts off without it. Very inconvenient. "
