"This was a cute and unique place
Excellent staff and the daily breakfast buffet and snacks were awesome, way better than chain hotels. Would definitely come back."
"The room was very clean—great view of water/mountains off the balcony. Location was great. NO BREAKFAST SERVICED--wasn't told why it was available (there's a restaurant walking distance that offers great food). BROKEN BLINDS in bathroom-unable to close the blinds. Need hanging hooks behind bathroom door to hang extra towels. Has NO CLOSET (there are hooks on wall to hang clothes behind the refrig). A light is needed OVER THE MIRROR by the bed because you can hardly use the mirror without light."
"It's a bit of an older property, but it well kept up. The breakfast was exceptional and we liked being able to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings with the beautiful plants. The pool is small, but we still enjoyed it for a quick swim and the hot-tub was nice after long hike earlier in the day. The staff was helpful and wonderful, so we would definitely stay here again."
"The hotel was in terrible shape. The base boards heater looked like it had caught on fire at one time so we didn't dare turn the heat on. There was a gap under the door letting cold air in. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan, the shower was stained so bad you couldn't tell if it was clean or not. And they used surge protection plug in strips attached half way up the wall with the TV & appliances plugged into it. The only thing good was the sheets were clean and the towels except one wash...
"Overall, it was a nice and somewhat quirky place to stay. It was comfortable and we liked the room. The bathroom could use some updating as the shower was small and the toilet seat seemed like it was made for tiny bums. The view was pretty and it was peaceful. If they did some work on the restaurant and bar, it would be a busier spot. We really liked the idea of staying there, it just needs some TLC. The staff was pleasant and helpful."
