"The apartment hotel is in a tall block part of the Lille Europe complex. It was usefully right next door to the Westfield Shopping Centre and Carrefour. The staff were very nice and tolerated our attempts at French. The room was a bit tired, especially the bathroom, with the toilet discoloured with limescale and the cracked basin draining very slowly. The bed was comfortable although an extra pillow would have been useful. Ear plugs would have been useful as there was a continuous hum...
