"Hotel Minerva offers very good value for money. It is clean, comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Assisi is not large so most hotels in the centre are walkable to the main sites. Hotel Minerva is very close to the Cathedral - just a few minutes away. The staff were very helpful & friendly. We would definitely stay there again and therefore highly recommend "

"We arrived at approximately 14:30 and there was no one there to check us in. We have to request the ice cream store employee next door to call them so that we can check in. There is also no elevator in the the hotel and we have to take 3 flights of stairs so it is not recommended for seniors. "

"The hotel was in a great location. At the entrance to the old city of Assisi. Parking across the street (ask for voucher for 10% discount). Short walk to St. Francis Basilica. Great breakfast included. Cute outdoor seating. The hotel is a little dated, but would recommend if you’re looking for something with good value. "

"Being at the top of the hill meant walking most places was down hill. Still some places to walk up mainly to the larger piazzia. Great dining around the hotel both for breakfast and dinner. Beautiful older state house with large open area overlooking Perugia. Would stay here again"

"Basic, functional, and really great room, on the small size but with a high ceiling and a sense of space and airiness. The room was very quiet and private, with great working electricity, plumbing, and AC, although the wifi was not that great. Lots of space, great lighting, very comfortable, although priced well above what it is worth, presumably due to the season. "

"Perfect location, very warm and helpful staff, excellent ample parking. We were greeted by a hostess who with a smile provided us with info about hotel and Cortona. She upgraded our room to a room with a view. The hotel is very clean . Our room had everything we needed in a perfect condition. Bathroom was fully renovated. Good breakfast No idea why this hotel is just 2 starts. It should be 3 at a minimum!"

"Amazing traditional Tuscan scan meal! The hotel itself was alright. Good location to get to Assisi, quiet, lots off parking and nice surroundings but the room was very basic. An ok bed but the bathroom needed some attention. The toilet never fully flushed and there was no holder for the shower head so you had to hold it the whole time. The staff are wonderful and friendly."

"We stayed at this location for one night located a few miles outside of town. The bedroom was very simple but clean, came with a firm bed and two flat pillows (this is probably one thing they can invest in) and no mini fridge. There was a balcony with two chairs and a great view. Montepulciano is a beautiful town and is worth to visit. We had the breakfast included where you can chose from a menu the night before. The breakfast was great with tables that had enough space between the customers....

"Unfortunately Expedia fouled up our booking so when we arrived there was no room for us. It appears this is not the first time it had happened and the hotel manager were very embarrassed. However, the hotel manager was marvellous, he found and booked us into another hotel, about five miles away, which turned out to be excellent. We returned to Oasis the next day for lunch and had a superb meal."
