"Great hotel, awesome staff, and perfect location! Nothing fancy, but I would've expected to pay €100 more a night just because if the location! And I would've happily paid it, this hotel was great!"
"This hotel has a great location. The property is tired though. The bed was two twin beds pushed together, the shower door didn't close, and you had to play around with the key to open the door. After reporting the shower door problem, they did not fix it.
They offer a breakfast for 30E each obviously so that no one will get it."
"For an inexpensive hotel at the Center of Florence I was great.
Rooms are humble, modestly decorated but clean roomy and safe.
Don’t expect a US style Hilton or Marriott and you will not be unhappy."
"The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit.
Not a new shiny place but very real and authentic.
Would recommend."
"Villa Castiglione is the perfect accommodation to rest and relax while visiting the Tuscan region. Perfectly located in the countryside just outside Florence and located close to city trams and buses. This is a quiet, well cared for property surrounded by olive trees and a gorgeous view of Florence. The perfect central hub if you are intending on day trips to other cities in the region. The staff are very approachable, helpful and pleasant. I would absolutely stay again. Thank you Villa...
"Great location. Modern, updated rooms. To be sure, this is a small, limited service hotel. Staff is friendly, location is great, comfy bed, modern (small) bathroom. It worked great for us."
"Wir waren viele Jahre dort und sind jetzt nach einer Pause wieder dort hin gekommen. Leider hat es sich nicht zum positiven entwickelt. Es ist sehr auf Masse ausgerichtet und hat nicht mehr diesen familiären Charme wie es mal war. Zudem ist es sehr teuer geworden und hat gerade bei den Restaurants sehr an Qualität, Geschmack und Service abgebaut.
Die Poollandschaften sind schön und gepflegt. Das Personal ist freundlich."
"Excellent staff. 24 hour front desk. Breakfast was included, not an extra expense. It is on a quiet street about a 15 minute walk from most of the museums and historic sites . We arrived early and our luggage was stored until we returned at the correct sign in time."
"We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here. Our kids had fun on their playground and my wife and I enjoyed the views, the hospitality. And the entire experience. The food was outstanding. "
"We had a wonderful stay. The host, Luca, was great to communicate with prior to check in and met us at the property despite our arrival being a bit delayed. He provided a brief history of the area and the farm and gave instructions regarding the property. He also provided recommendations on restaurants and suggestions of where to park in Florence. This was very useful during our visit.
The weather was a bit chilly so we did not get to use the pool however the views from around the property were...
