"It was bearable, but more roach motel than hotel. Dark and dingy room at the back overlooking a swamp-like swimming pool and AC units. Bed reasonably comfortable, pillows (or rather pillow) dreadful. Inconveniently separate toilet and bathroom. Breakfast not worth the money really, but the coffee was nice. Host was agreeable and friendly. Sadly this was the only place we could find as most were fully booked. Next time, I’ll look more in advance and get something better. "

"Hôte très agréable, disponible et réactif. Nous avons occupé une chambre confortable pour 4 avec un lit double et un lit superposé 😊. Très calme, jolie vue. Chauffage à disposition. Idéal pour aller au Puy du Fou (env. 20mn en voiture). joli petit village, son église, sa petite boulangerie..miam😊 Le seul petit bémol est qu'il n'y a pas de VMC dans la chambre et la SDB. "This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable.
