"The hotel was in a good place, not too far from the town centre and also easy to get back onto the M5. It was also good having the free car park with ample spaces. The staff were helpful. The only downfall the mattresses are very soft and when there are 2 of you in bed you both end up rolling into the middle together. The walls are quite thin and we could hear someone in the next room plugging something in and unplugging it again."
"Near to the station (& the High Street is almost on your doorstep). Great town & hotel is in easy reach of various attractions (maybe a lick of paint in the room wouldn’t hurt, but beds comfy). We went to a day festival at Vivary Park, which is a 15-20 min walk. It did rain, but everything dried out in our room overnight (Room 40 is above the Boiler Room). We used a fan & opened window.
Staff kindly stored our luggage, when we went to lunch before catching a train home. They don’t do food, but...
"The place itself is unique, very quiet amazing views all around, very clean inside the apartment and the place is very nice, the owners are amazing, kind , lovely people, can’t wait to visit them again, we can highly recommend it to anyone interested visiting this part of the country.

"very clean and quiet room, nice soft towels, comfortable bed and a quiet fan was provided in the room as we stayed during a very hot spell. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and very kindly offered us the room for a couple of hours longer after check out as we were attending a funeral that morning and wanted to change afterwards. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness.

"A beautiful little property situated perfectly being just over an hour for either the North or South of Devon.
The property is very original and quaint. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. It was nice hearing about some of their history."
"The flat offers great views of the sea but that is the only positive thing about it. It's tired, full of useless trinkets and furniture, the musty smell is everywhere and it's freezing cold this time of the year. To top it all, you have to pay for your own electricity which is not made clear in the particulars invluding the convectors heaters that use up a lot of electricity. I would not choose it again!"
