The fall decorations in the house were a lovely, festive touch and the wall heaters in each of the bedrooms were a godsend, since we had some temps in the teens at night. "Amazing stay at the Wintergreen Resort. There was a shuttle service that took us to the Mountain Inn and slopes, and the accommodations offered were superb. The home was clean, cozy and in amazing shape. The kitchen had cooking supplies and utensils, plus some spices as a bonus! It was perfect for my family of 5! Definitely will be back. I highly recommend this stay!!! 3"

"I have stayed here a couple times. Was worried initially that it wouldn’t be very good considering the low price… but this is a good place! IMO worth the cost (we paid about $60-70 per night in late 2025). No frills, but more importantly- no bad surprises. Safari njema!"

"If you are looking for a peaceful spot in the mountains to enjoy the fall colors, this is an excellent choice! I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck under a blanket and just soaking it up. The bedrooms were private and perfect for our group of couples. The fireplace was great to sit around and hang out. Kitchen is pretty well stocked with cookware and dishes. The drive up doesn't require 4WD but the driveway is steep. We made it work with 3 cars but it was a puzzle. We appreciated the host's...
