"The location was good but honestly I wouldn’t book again. It was so difficult to get to my room. And I didn’t hear back from them when asking for help untill I reach out to Expedia.The doors are so close to eachother you can hear everything and I had the worst night sleep. Since I kept thinking people were trying to get into my room but it was just the next door. The shower jsut close properly so all of the water spills out of the shower and I had to use all my towels to clean it."
"This is not a luxury hotel but it was very clean and comfortable. I slept better in this property than any of the 4-4 star hotels over the past 10 days! Very basic amenities. A wonderful stay for a fair price!"
"This was a lovely relaxing stay in a spacious clean room with a partial view over Lake Maggiore. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and restful. The breakfast was good value. The staff were lovely, and the hotel was generally kept in good condition and is situated in a great location just up from the railway station. The included Ticino card was great for local travel. "What a gem of a place! It's run by two folks who clearly put a lot of care, attention, and hospitality knowledge into the experience. I loved the location which was across from a bus stop that runs right into town, next to a grocery store, and within short walking distance of the lovely Ascona waterfront. It was also a good location for morning runs. The breakfast was good and while I didn't try the restaurant, it had lively crowds and the food looked delicious. Highly recommend!"
"Nous avons séjourné trois nuits à Casa Forster et nous avons énormément apprécié.
Le village de Cannero est très joli notamment le bord de lac (beaucoup plus que Cannobio!).
La maison est très bien située et la vue magnifique.
Paolo est très sympatique, féru d'art et donne pleins de bons conseils.
Petit déjeuner de grande qualité.

"Ich bin schon 7x in dem Hotel gewesen liegt Zentral und Preis Leistung mit Frühstück gut.Aber nun den gestrigen auf Heute Aufenthalt war nicht gut.Bekam das kleinste Zimmer Nr.63.Bett schmal und die Matratze fühlte sich an wie 1 Brett.Habe schon früh gebucht für den 26./27.06.Hoffe auf ein besseres Zimmer wie früher."
"An incredible location with breathtaking views. Just be aware that you’ll either need to park at the bottom of the mountain and take the funicular, or park farther away and walk to the apartment. This wasn’t a problem for us and was absolutely worth it, but it’s helpful to know in advance, especially if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns."
