"The Hotel Martinelli was an amazing hotel. Situated in my family's home town, the hotel was welcoming, staff was friendly & the breakfast good. Rooms are very clean & the bed was extremely comfortable. The view was amazing."

"Wonderful hotel, great staff and fantastic breakfast. The location cant be beat either!"

"Comfortable room, great breakfast and friendly staff "

"Nice hotel in the middle of the old city. The Parking provided is not far from the hotel. A really good restaurant was recommended by them."

"All aspects of stay surpassed expectations "

"Beautiful view, great hosts, nice breakfast, pillows could be better"

"Very Good location!!! Nearer from Highway. "

"Great location "

"Enjoyed our stay! Wished we were there slightly longer to enjoy a day by the pool. Wonderful view from our balcony, enjoyed walking the neighborhood and patronizing local ristorantes."

"Room's and bathroom need an update, no AC, no coffee maker no fridge, mattress and pillows are old, and the price they ask for 1night is way to much. Zero star rating.... We had to leave early (7:00 am) we could not get a coffee because breakfast was at 7:30........"

"It does not have a pool. This is the main reason for booking this accommodation. It has a photo showing a lovely pool area. It does not have this. Other negatives - only one plug socket in room - no where near a mirror or tv. No coffee making facilities in room. Paid 130 euro in taxi fair as they did not reply to 3 messages regarding check in and their advert said check in was 3-6 with no after hours check in. Was meant to be my 50th birthday treat - i was so disappointed. Also no air con remote...

"Very nice staff, perfect stay. Was missing AC, other than that absolutely perfect"

"This little hotel was really outstanding. Very clean, excellent service, wifi worked well. Great location overlooking the lake. Underground parking was tight but very manageable. We had to leave early on the day of departure so they even went out their way to set up some breakfast for us specifically. A bit of a walk to Malcesine itself - would recommend the bus or driving rather than walking. Bus stop is a few mins walk from the hotel and buses are frequent."

"Very small rooms. The bathroom smelled like sewerage. When we walked into the room for the first time there was some kind of animal’s droppings on the floor. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but left after 12 hours"

"Excellent breakfast, gorgeous views, and a short walk into town"

"Un hôtel simple avec une vue fantastique. Chambre avec balcon et mobilier de jardin. Très belle salle de bain, literie à changer. Une salle de restauration spacieuse avec vue sur le lac, un salon confortable. Un personnel affable et avenant. "

"Great little hotel close to lake Garda. Recently refurbished and was clean. Breakfast also great and overall good price to performance ratio. Only con was the pool which probably should be closed as water was evidently contamintaed with particled due to poor filtration."

"Can’t believe this hotel is rated a 2 star, it’s fabulous and only a short stroll away from Malcesine centre. Despite it being next to the main road we didn’t find it too noisy especially at night. Rooms are spacious and clean, the bonus is the swimming pool. We highly recommend it and hope to return next year. "
