"Absolutely wonderful stay! We got a complimentary upgrade to a private apartment and was given a tour by reception staff upon arrival. Room was very clean. Good location close to a bus stop and several great restaurants. Staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough!"
"Pro: price, cleanliness, showers were good.
Con: bed was the worst I have ever encountered. Cheapest quality. Asked to change rooms, or pay to upgrade and was not accommodated. Had to buy my own mattress topper!! My back won’t be the same for weeks now. Ugh"
"It was my first hostel experience and I thought it was great. The location is excellent, and the staff are very attentive. The only downsides (nothing that would stop me from returning) were the noise in the hallways and the bathroom, which could have been cleaner. But I highly recommend it."
"The place to use as your base whilst in this beautiful City.
Close to everything,
The Old Town,Royal Mile ,Castle, then across Waverley Bridge to Princes Street

While the bedroom was pretty well presented, the bathroom was the real shock, with a clearly stained bath mat (it was such poor quality anyway, just buy a new one for £5?) The sink and sides were...
"There is no one on staff as it is a self service hotel. But all my questions were answered quickly via email! Our check in was smooth and easy! Our hotel room was beautiful with gorgeous wallpaper! The linens were superior and the beds were comfortable! If you are noise sensitive while sleeping, I would recommend asking for a room away from the street which was quite busy overnight!"
