"The place to use as your base whilst in this beautiful City. Close to everything, The Old Town,Royal Mile ,Castle,then across Waverley Bridge to Princes Street .Absolute must if your on a budget,and are planning to be our every day. 4 bed dorm,clean ,shower,toilet facilities. When you check out ,storage for your luggage if like me your train is leaving in the afternoon. 2nd time using here...will always use here. Christmas next I think."

"While the room seemed like it had been cleaned, with fresh sheets and towels, looking at the general maintenance of the hotel and the rooms I wasn't filled with hope. The hotel smelled of cigarette smoke, which is ironic considering no smoking was very explicit and one of the many "rules" made clear. While the bedroom was pretty well presented, the bathroom was the real shock, with a clearly stained bath mat (it was such poor quality anyway, just buy a new one for £5?) The sink and sides were...

"There is no one on staff as it is a self service hotel. But all my questions were answered quickly via email! Our check in was smooth and easy! Our hotel room was beautiful with gorgeous wallpaper! The linens were superior and the beds were comfortable! If you are noise sensitive while sleeping, I would recommend asking for a room away from the street which was quite busy overnight!"
