Great location with good parking. I enjoyed the walk to Beacon Park and Grandview beach access points. (Both have long steep descents; people with mobility challenges may need to drive to get to easier access.) Nice clean room with kitchenette. Friendly staff.

Stayed here for one night after a concert & was happy to have found this place. The rooms were tidy, the staff was kind & friendly. Very quiet hotel. Perfect for a good night's sleep. Highly recommend!

Stuff is very accommodating and truly cares about you. Location is 5 min away from a very nice beach.

The place was great. We stayed for 6 nights. The room had a king sized bed and a couch. It had a desk, 2 nightstands with reading lights. The vanity was big. It had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was clean and had plenty of towels. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the elevator worked fine. The pool and jacuzzi were relaxing. Free breakfast from 6:30-9:30am was a nice spread. Eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles. Yogurt, fresh fruit and much more. We will definitely be...

The Moonlight Beach Motel has been nicely updated recently and the view from the deluxe double room was amazing! There are no frills but has what you need including coffee maker, mini fridge & microwave & you can beat how close to the beach it is. It is very clean & well kept and Jordan at the front desk is very nice & helpful. I will stay here again.

The room was clean and even though it's by an airport it was extremely quite and the bed was comfortable so we slept good. We were provided with great customer service and delicious breakfast! I would definitely stay again if in the area again!

Enjoyed our stay.

Great people nice pool and Jacuzzi wonderful beds just need to put some silverware plates and pots and pans in your kitchen then it would be perfect

Excellent accommodations; clean and comfortable rooms, safe and convenient parking and excellent breakfast

centric clean safe

Clean room. Great amenities

Beautiful updated oceanfront patio with lounges, chairs and umbrellas that overlook the beach 🏖️. Watching the waves and families enjoying the surf while sipping a cold drink ( available onsite). This hotel is literally on the sand‼️ You can’t stay closer to the beach than the Del Mar Hotel. There are 2 outstanding restaurants right next door. No need to drive anywhere, just relax and enjoy.

Clean, quiet, good for family

Awesome ocean view and yummy breakfast!

The Holiday Inn Solana Beach is awesome! We’ve been staying there for years and it never fails us! It’s practically on the beach, the staff is super friendly, and the free breakfast is the best of any hotel!

Wonderful location directly across from beach access and the Carlsbad village. Service was awesome! They made our experience special and stress free, especially having young children. They provided all of the beach amenities we could ask for, including towels, toys, chairs, umbrellas. The grounds of the property really made the stay extra special. It’s meticulously maintained with a Hawaiian vibe. You very much feel like you’ve been transported to the islands. Can’t wait to come back!

One of my very favorite hotels to stay in Carlsbad!

I love this place!! My family and I enjoyed our stay. We appreciate the warm staff and the cleanliness of the place. The layout is amazing. No outside noise we slept good for the whole night and enjoyed the continental breakfast. Our room is conveniently next to the pool, parking, & the breakfast room. It was awesome! The room was clean, bathroom is well stocked with the best products whole sizes of shampoo, conditioner & body wash, the linens and beds are clean and comfy! We will come back here...

I loved that our rooms were cleaned daily, beds made, bathrooms spotless, and we got fresh towels daily. The room was spacious, clean, and efficient.
