"This hotel is a bit off the beaten track, however, in this instance was just what we wanted as needed a quick start the following morning to head for our Ferry. Difficulty in signing in via electronic system meant had to wait for the mahager to open the reception and check-in person to person. Had an issue with the shower flooding the bathrom as water flowing quicker than the outlet could deal with. Didn't cause to much of an issue as the manager provided buck and mop along with lots of towels...

"Excellent value for money . Staff were friendly and super helpful with directions to the Metro so we could get to Lille centre for the big antiques market . We stayed for 4 nights with breakfast which was very nice and good quality food .We would recommend and stay here again . "

"It's not best location for Lille but staff, price, cleanliness make up for it. 15 mins into town centre €35 in zn Uber. The receptionist couldn't be more helpful, she was amazing. Thank you for making it a great vacation. "

"Room was compact but clean. Biggest bug bear was the mattress was very hard and, together with only one unsupportive pillow, did not sleep well. There was also an add lingering smell, like someone who smoked was in the room previously. Shower room was clean but part of the shower pipe cover was missing"

"Stayed here over the Lille brocant weekend..The prpoerty is of basic standard but forfills those needs. The bed was comfortable, room clean and shower good. The staff, particularly the lady on reception went above and beyond and, is a credit to the hotel. All things aside, for this weekend the hotel is not close for walking to restaurants or bars. It is also a 7km drive to central Lille. Bus 15 and metro will take you there. I would return but not brocante weekend, "

"the hotel looks and feels run down and in need of a refurb. the walls being painted nicotine yellow makes the place feel dirty. the corridors were poorly lit. "

"As ever with B&B, staff were great and breakfast excellent. This hotel's a bit tired though, and the shower in my room was blocked so flooded. The area around is a bit rough - but it's near a train station in a large town, so not unexpected, and not at all unsafe. It's just there are nicer areas. It worked for what I needed though, and you get what you pay for!"

"The room was nice...cozy...shower ok bathroom is outside but next door. The kitchen didn't have any cooking oil so I asked the lady at the reception if she could provide me something. She said no...I had to insist a lot so that she called her boss who told her to buy a bottle of oil at the shop in front of the hostel. She could have been more attentive and proactive. But the lady at the reception next day was really friendly."
