"The place was great! Very family-friendly and clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is in Temple Bar which is a loud and raucous neighborhood. Lots of yelling outside on the street all-night. But the guests inside Abigail’s were all very respectful and quiet during our 3-night stay. As long as the raucous nature of the neighborhood doesn’t bother you - it’s an excellent choice for an affordable place to stay. We’d stay at Abigail’s again in a heartbeat!"
"Basic accommodation was expected, but unreliable Wi-Fi was not
I booked knowing it was budget accommodation, so I was perfectly happy with a no-frills place to sleep. However, one thing I was relying on was the advertised Wi-Fi, as I was travelling internationally and needed internet access.
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was unreliable throughout my stay. I want to give credit to the gentleman who came twice to try to fix it. He genuinely made an effort, and I appreciated his help.

"High 5 euro surcharge for towels. Keycards rarely worked. We were also not informed that the hotel was undergoing renovation and hallways were filled with painting tarps, painters, and the paint smell. Using the elevator was a hassle and required going up and down multiple stairs and through the entire floorplan."
"The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. This was bit too pricey for the bare basic amenities of a backpacking hostel. Over 100 EU a night for a bed in a 12 room dorm on the weekends. They really capitalize on the extras like a $9 EU for a very mediocre breakfast and $6 for a towel rental. There is a supermarket across the street with an awesome $3 build your own breakfast sandwich with all the traditional Irish breakfast fixings that i would highly recommend if you are a budget traveler...

Renting an electrical plug adapter costs 6 euros per night. I walked three minutes to a nearby shop and bought one for 3 euros.
Renting a towel costs an additional 8 euros per night. I bought a three-pack at a store for 9 euros and left the towels for other guests to use. During my stay, I interacted with four or five different receptionists.
