"We used the hotel as a stopover and it was easy to find from the motorway south. Parking right outside. Very pleasant couple running it and a nice restaurant. We left behind a purse of English money which they kindly emailed me about and we have organised its return. Very happy with that"

"This hotel is unique. It was very easy to find and is at the centre of a very picturesque French village. We were asked to provide our COVID pass. There was a pleasant bar where the locals were very friendly but ignored the EU rules about indoor smoking. We had a pleasant reasonably priced meal in the restaurant. The shower was surprisingly good"

"On arrival we were surprised to find that our room was in a motel style block alongside the hotel shown in the picture. The room was a good size with a pretty balcony and large bathroom and separate toilet. We ate in the restaurant which provided good food and excellent value. The staff were friendly and efficient."

"The Hôtel Alizé is a modern 1950s-style motel on the edge of Puy-Loudes airport. No worries about aircraft noise - there aren't any scheduled flights in August. The room smelt of loo at first, owing to a long hot spell with closed windows. There was a double bed and a single, same price for all so more suitable for a small family than a single traveller.
