"Das einchecken ist etwas tricky, man erhält irgendwann eine Nachricht, wo man schlafen wird und wo der Schlüssel ist. Ansonsten geht man ein und aus, wie man will. Es hat einen Dorfladen mit sehr limitierten Öffnungszeiten, welcher das Notwendigste hat, um es in der Unterkunft zuzubereiten. Es hat eine Küche und Tische zum Essen. Das Bett ist etwas federig, aber abgesehen vom dem war alles super sauber und modern, vor allem für den Preis."

"Walkable from the bus stop, but take note there's a flight of stairs (I counted about 78 steps) via the shortest route. There's also a luggage friendly slope, but it's a bit of a detour. Nice clean facility. Lights in the toilet and showers work on a timer. (press and countdown type) The shower light went off in the middle of my shower and I was plunged into pitch black darkness because there are no windows in the shower room. Thankfully I remembered roughly where the switch was.. Good...

"There is a large covered outside dining areas which is beautiful to sit out on even in the rain. The only deficiencies I found were there is no lift (if you have heavy suitcases) and there was nowhere in the shower to put your shampoo/body wash. "

"The hotel is owned and operated by a charming family. They are very welcoming with good advice about local events and history. The breakfast room has an amazing view of the town and the mountains. The variety of choices at breakfast is generous. Included in the B & B rate is free admission to the thermal spas including locker rentals and a Leukerbad Visitor's Pass which provides additional discounts to ski lifts, buses, etc and free admission to local cultural events. "The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice casual dinner in the downstairs restaurant and a quiet stay in the hotel. The breakfast had a good variety of choices. Boltigen is a quiet little town (in May anyway, when we were there) and we were serenaded by cowbells while we waited for the train the next morning."
