"Prima groot hotel met buiten centrum van Bern. Kamer ruim maar kaal,goed schoon en prima badkamer. Bed en airco waren prima in deze warme periode. Ontbijt is meer dan prima om de dag mee te starten. Groot hotel maar toch een hele rustige sfeer. Met bus nr 10 ben je zo in centrum/HBF van Bern. Prima hotel!"
"Horrible! Paid almost 400 US dollars for this 250SF box of a room with NO AIR VENTILATION. The temperature thermometer in room read 82.2 Fahrenheit. No fans and one very small window with 2 sets of bunk beds. We couldn’t sleep it was soooo hot. No amenities. It says hostel which is true regarding amenities but the price is ridiculous and it’s dangerous to stay there on a hot day.
Food is overpriced. Had to pay 2 francs for a cup of ice and a meals runs around $35-40 USD per person

"We Miamians were unprepared for just how hot it would be in Iseltwald in early July in a heatwave. There was no AC (which is our natural state in the 305) and it took some getting used to but we survived. We came by car and parking was good. The road leading to the hostel (which was more like a driveway) was quite narrow and we were unprepared for it. We would soon learn that narrow streets are common in Europe and everyone is much more courteous that what we are accustomed to. Biggest issue was...

"The dining and kitchen area was super spacious and well-equipped, so we had an amazing time. We happened to meet some of the staff and they were so friendly. Also, their quick email responses gave us peace of mind."
"This hotel was recommended to me by my sister who stayed here back in 2024.
If you want a quiet space and not much crowd going on or passing by the hotel. This is the best hotel to stay, it is tuck behind a neighborhood. It is pretty quiet here only you can hear is the water from the river and the bell from the church. I like the neighborhood we passed by before heading to the hotel as there were friendly cats that I pet before heading back.
Only comment I have, is our light in our room needs...
